The ban on Tahreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan has been lifted and the TLP has also been removed from the list of banned parties (banned outfits).

The Interior Ministry has issued a notification to lift the ban on Tahreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan.

The TLP will no longer be banned as long as it continues its activities.

The Ban on TLP was lifted:

The Punjab government had prepared recommendations to withdraw the decision to ban Tahreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan and sent them to the Interior Ministry.

The Interior Ministry sent the summary to the federal cabinet, which approved it.

Now the Home Ministry has issued a notification to lift the ban on the TLP.

The lifting of the ban was due to an agreement reached between the Punjab government and the TLP.

Sources said that the Punjab government has implemented all the points of the agreement.

The names of 577 workers of the banned outfit have been removed from the Fourth Schedule and more than 2,100 arrested workers of Tahreek-e-Labbaik have been released.

The Punjab government will take a lenient stance in the courts regarding cases against TLP workers.

Sources also claimed that Tahreek-e-Labbaik (the TLP) has assured that it will change its protest attitude and start political activities of the party.

It should be noted that Tahreek-e-Lubbaik Pakistan was included in the list of Banned Outfits on April 15 at the request of the Punjab government.

According to sources, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Speaker Asad Qaiser, and Minister for State Ali Muhammad Khan had signed the agreement on behalf of the government.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Ex-chairman Ruwait-e-Hilal Committee acted on behalf of the TLP as a guarantor of the agreement.
