ISLAMABAD: People will now know what the real inflation is, Imran Khan.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, while commenting on economic reforms, said that people will now know what real inflation is.
Addressing the ruling party PML-N, he said that they used to tell us that there is inflation and their inflation will increase three times more than us. In our time, a 20 kg bag of flour used to cost Rs. 1200 has now cost Rs. 1500.
The former prime minister said that the dollar has reached 202 rupees today and its effects will be felt even more while the stock market is also going down.
“Ever since this government came, it has been difficult to get loans from outside”, he said.
Imran Khan said that since this government came, it has become difficult to take loans from outside and Moody’s has downgraded Pakistan’s credit rating.
He said that the country was developing rapidly in our time after the Musharraf era, those who are in government today have not built big dams in 30 years, water resources are badly needed and today farmers do not get water for crops. However, the plans for our dams are in jeopardy.
Chairman PTI said that the agricultural sector grew by 4.4%, farmers lost more money during our tenure, we collected Rs.6100 billion in taxes and now the situation is that load shedding has increased due to the incompetence of the present government.

Imran Khan said in a tweet, “We reject this anti-people & anti-business budget presented by Imported govt. Budget is based on unrealistic assumptions on inflation(11.5%) & economic growth(5%). Today’s SPI of 24% indicates that inflation will be between 25/30% which on the one hand will destroy the common man.”

“And on the other hand retard economic growth due to high-interest rates. All our progressive tax reforms and Pro-poor programs such as the Sehat card, and Kamyab Pakistan are being shelved. It is an unimaginative, Purana Pakistan budget creating more burdens & misery for the nation”, he added
