Rawalpindi: Pakistan won the first T20 cricket match against Zimbabwe by 6 wickets.

The first T20 match between host Pakistan and visiting Zimbabwe was played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.

Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 156 runs in the fixed 20 overs with 6 wickets loss.

Pakistan achieved the target of 156 runs in 18 overs and 4 balls. Pakistan made 157 runs at the loss of 4 dismissals.

Captain Babar Azam teamed up with Mohammad Hafeez for a magnificent 80-run partnership.

Babar Azam faced 55 balls and played a super innings of 82 runs, which included 9 fours and 1 six.

Muhammad Hafeez scored 36 runs off 32 balls. Opener Fakhr Zaman scored 19 runs while young batsman Haider Ali was out for 7 runs.

For visiting Zimbabwe, Mazara Bani led 2, Chitara and Ann Grava led one each to the pavilion.
