ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that the opposition then feared I will appoint Lt. Gen Faiz as Army Chief, and thus their future would be ruined.
Addressing a function in Islamabad, former prime minister Imran Khan said that Khurram Dastgir had stated that Imran Khan wanted to bring his army chief.
Imran Khan said I did not even think who will be the next army chief of the country, we had decided that the time will come to decide on merit.
He said that I ask the neutrals that if there is a robbery in the house, can the watchman remain neutral?
Lt. Gen Faiz as Army Chief?
The former prime minister said that they were afraid that if I wanted to bring General Faiz Hameed as the Chief of Army Staff, then their future would be ruined.
Imran Khan did not need to appoint his army chief, I did not save any theft. He said that Nawaz Sharif wanted to bring an army chief of his choice to save his stolen money.
He said that I have always said that the interests of PPP and PML-N are one and the same.
The former prime minister said that when NAB is under Rana Sanaullah, guess what will happen? He has dug the grave of justice institutions to prevent theft while the Election Commission has lost its credibility.
Chairman PTI said that both the PPP and PML-N are in danger from the army as their theft is reported to ISI and other sensitive agencies. Nawaz Sharif and Zardari have stolen money, they wanted to control institutions.
Imran Khan said that America threatened to push our leader into the Stone Age, America changes the government for its own benefit and not for our benefit.
He said that America wants India to be strong and to compete with China, America’s agenda is to recognize Israel, and forget Kashmir.

Earlier, Imran Khan tweeted that his government had saved the economy from bankruptcy during the global outbreak through the IMF program, Corona but the present imported government has completely failed to handle the country’s economy.
