LAHORE: Mufti Aziz Video Scandal: The accused cleric confessed his shameful crime before the police.
Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman, the main accused in the alleged video scandal, has confessed to the crime.
Yesterday, Investigation North Cantonment Police arrested Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman from Mianwali.
According to police, the main accused in the alleged video case of a fellow student at the madrassa confessed to the crime.
Police Sources Claim:
Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman in his confessional statement said, “The video of the student abuse is mine, I have made a mistake and I am ashamed of it.”
“Affected student Sabir Shah secretly made a video of which I was not aware”, he said.
The accused added, “When I found out, I forbade him to make the video viral, but despite my prohibition, he made the video viral.”

“When the video went viral, my sons scolded and threatened her”, Mufti Aziz admitted.
Earlier, Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman was produced before the Cantt. The court in a video scandal case.
Police requested physical remand of the accused. The court handed over the accused Aziz-ur-Rehman to the police on a 4-day physical remand.
The court ordered a DNA test of the accused and said that a medical check-up of the accused should also be done.
Background of Mufti Aziz Video Scandal:
A nasty video of Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman affiliated with Jamia Manzoor-ul-Islam Madrassa in Lahore was leaked.
In this video, he can be seen abusing a child.
After which, the police registered a case against Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman at the request of Sabir Shah.
According to the FIR text, young Sabir Shah was threatened with death, on which the police registered a case.
Yesterday, Investigation North Cantonment Police arrested Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman.
According to police sources, Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman had fled Lahore to another city after the case was registered.
Police arrested Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman from Mianwali.
Investigative police also arrested two sons of Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman, while his friend Abdullah has sought bail from the court today.
