Izmir, Turkey: The death toll in last Friday’s earthquake in the coastal city of Turkey has risen to 107.
The quake also injured 1,026 people, of whom 883 have been discharged from hospitals after receiving medical treatment. One hundred and forty-three wounded are still being treated.
On the other hand, search and rescue work has been completed in 12 earthquake-affected buildings in Izmir, while debris removal work is still underway in 5 buildings.
