Heavy rains lashed different parts of the country including Islamabad which made the weather pleasant. The twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi received thundershowers this morning, breaking the heatwave.
With the reduction in the intensity of heat, the weather became pleasant and the faces of the citizens opened with joy. It is raining intermittently with thunder and lightning in different cities of Punjab including Vehari.
Many feeders were tripped due to rain and the power supply was suspended.
According to the meteorological department, wind and dusty winds and thundershowers are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North Balochistan, Islamabad, Upper and Central Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan today.
