Rawalpindi: Army has nothing to do with politics: DG ISPR Presser
Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar has said that the army has nothing to do with politics, this issue should not be discussed unnecessarily, this is good for all of us and is better.
During a press conference in Rawalpindi, he clarified in response to a question that he had said earlier that the army had nothing to do with politics. He did not want to comment on the current political situation.

In addition, Major General Babar Iftikhar said that something had entered Pakistan from Indian borders on March 9, Pakistan strongly condemns the violation of airspace.
He said that at 6:43 pm on March 9, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Defense Operations Center spotted a high-speed object inside Indian territory.
He said that initially, it was in Indian territory then suddenly changed its route and entered Pakistan’s territory and fell, causing some damage to civilian facilities but no casualties.

Major General Babar Iftikhar said that Pakistan Air Force has fully monitored this matter, whatever the reason, it has to be explained by India, we are not doing any provocation on this incident.
He said that initially, it was in Indian territory then suddenly changed its route and entered Pakistan’s territory and fell, causing some damage to civilian facilities but no casualties.
Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar said that the object was possibly unarmed when it entered Pakistani territory from India.
The DG ISPR said that the Indian object did not fall in any sensitive place, the technology is faulty and they need to do more work on it, there was no loss of life due to the fall of the flying object.
